Marriage is a sacred institution  thriving since centuries in every culture around the world. It gives emotional security, a sense of belonging to people.  Thousands of young men and women desire to get married  but are finding difficult to find life partners in USA due to various reasons including: very demanding careers, pursuit of higher education, lack of support system, parents living in India or far away, or just don’t know how to go about it. 

Per Healthy Minds Monthly Poll in early 2024 from the American Psychiatric Association,  single adults are nearly twice as likely as married adults to say they have been lonely on a weekly basis over the past year (39% vs. 22%).  Americans ranked the top three areas where they felt the highest sense of community and belonging as among their family (65%), among their friends (53%), and in their neighborhoods (20%).

Loneliness can make people succumb to social media, TV, alcohol, reckless eating etc. which can jeopardize their mental and physical health.

My organization wants to help and guide youth to get married.
